45 Years ago, March 9, 1974, Linda and I got married. We chose to spend our wedding trip on the water. We rented a very nice cabin on the Alabama River near Camden, Alabama. This cabin is in the Roland Cooper State Park located in Wilcox County. We revisited the state park around the 20 year mark of our marriage. When selecting a location to celebrate our 45th anniversary, I picked a place on the water. We leased an apartment in the small village of La Napoule, France about 7 miles from Cannes on the French Riviera.
During our travels, while visiting the Alsace region of France, we had the good fortune to meet Jean-Paul Krebs. Jean-Paul is the Propietaire (owner) of www.rosa-gallica.fr. He has a number of apartments in France. We have stayed in two of his places and enjoyed them greatly. Jean-Paul mentioned his place on the French Riveria and I thought it be a great place to spend this anniversary. We leave in a couple of hours for Atlanta and will be flying to Europe tomorrow. Travel with us, enjoy the trip.
